07:40 Meeting Point: Please come to the front of Lawson Oriental Hotel Fukuoka (4-23 Hakataeki-Chuo-gai, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka-shi). Look for the yellow flag with “GOGODAY TRAVEL” written on it.

10:00 Kumamoto Castle (110 minutes)

Kumamoto Castle is one of Japan’s Three Great Castles, a beautiful and famous castle built by Kato Kiyomasa. Its highlights are the “Mushagaeshi” (Warrior-Repelling) stone walls that curve outwards as they rise, and the magnificent Tenshukaku (castle tower). Having recovered from the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake, it is a spectacular spot where approximately 800 cherry trees bloom in spring. The adjacent Josaien offers Kumamoto gourmet food and souvenirs, making it a representative tourist spot of Kumamoto. It is said that Miyamoto Musashi, the famous swordsman and author of “The Book of Five Rings,” spent his later years near the current Chiba-jo-machi area. 13:10 Kusasenri ※Free lunch (2 hours including Mt. Nakadake Crater visit)

Kusasenri, located at the northern foot of Mt. Eboshi overlooking the smoking Mt. Nakadake, is characterized by a vast grassland with large ponds and grazing horses, creating a pastoral landscape. It boasts an area of approximately 20,000 hectares, with a pond formed by rainwater in the center where cattle and horses graze. It’s a place where you can feel the changing seasons and refresh yourself with a leisurely stroll.

Mt. Aso Nakadake Crater
Mt. Nakadake is a volcano (elevation 1,506 meters) soaring in the central part of Mt. Aso, located in Kumamoto Prefecture, characterized by its beautiful conical shape. In its huge crater, which is 600m in diameter, 130m deep, and 4km in circumference, you can see the sight of intensely white smoke rising and dynamic landscapes up close. From the summit, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Aso region and its surroundings.
※If a no-entry notice is issued from Mt. Aso, the itinerary will be adjusted according to the local situation.
※In case of crater closure, the time spent at Kusasenri will be changed to 90 minutes.

15:50 Michi-no-Eki Aso (Roadside Station Aso) (15 minutes)

Michi-no-Eki Aso (Roadside Station Aso) “Michi-no-Eki Aso” is a tourist spot located at the foot of the magnificent Mt. Aso. It features a direct sales store offering fresh local agricultural products and specialty goods, as well as restaurants where you can enjoy Aso’s unique gourmet cuisine.

18:00 Arrive at Lawson Oriental Hotel Fukuoka (4-23 Hakataeki-Chuo-gai, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka-shi), then disband.
