Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine is famous for plum blossoms, but there are many other famous plum blossoms viewing spots in Kyushu, and they usually bloom from late January and are at their best from early February to mid-March in various parts of Kyushu.

Sengan-en Garden in Kagoshima has about 110 plum trees, including red, white, and weeping plum trees.

At theMifunegaoka Plum Grove near the Yoko Art Museum and Japanese Garden Keishuen, visitors can view approximately 3,000 plum trees in a vast area.
