This course will take you to the crater of Aso, one of the largest calderas in the world.
Enjoy the spectacular view of the mountain on the way to the crater.
Takachiho Gorge, where the famous Manai Falls, one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan, is located, offers a spectacular view of the falls and nature.
In the traditional culture experience, you can try on a kimono, drink green powdered tea, and make soba (buckwheat noodles), one of the most popular Japanese foods.In Fukuoka, you will enjoy painting Hakata ningyo dolls.In this schedule, we will also prepare a tour about the worldwide popular Japanese sake, including a tasting event.
At the end of the tour, you will have time to visit Yatai stalls and do some shopping in the center of Fukuoka.
This is a highlight course that allows you to enjoy the spectacular natural scenery and traditional cultural experiences.
Day1
Fukuoka Airport International Airport- Fukuoka City
Upon arrival at Fukuoka Airport, an English-speaking assistant will meet you at the arrival lobby and accompany you to your hotel for check-in.
For dinner, enjoy Fukuoka’s famous yatai stalls and local cuisine in the vicinity of your hotel. (on your own)

Day2
Fukuoka City – Dazaifu – Aso, Kumamoto
Breakfast will be provided at the hotel.
Depart from the hotel by private car to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine which is dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning, and enjoy shopping and eating on the road leading to the shrine.
After leaving Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, you will visit Kumamoto Castle, a symbol of reconstruction. Enjoy Kumamoto’s local cuisine at Josaien for lunch (on your own)
Try wearing a kimono at Josaien and after lunch, stop by Suizenji Park, a Japanese garden, where you can take a rest drinking green tea.
Enjoy local cuisine for dinner in Kumamoto City. (on your own)

Day3
Kumamoto – Aso – Takachiho
Breakfast will be provided at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will take a private car to Mt. Aso, which has one of the world’s largest calderas. Visit the crater of Mt. Aso which is famous for being an active volcano.
After that, you will head for a soba noodle making experience and enjoy soba noodles that you made for lunch.
After lunch, you will head to Takachiho, a town with many myths and legends passed down from generation to generation.
You will take a walk through Takachiho Gorge, where Manai Falls, one of the 100 most famous waterfalls in Japan, is located, and if there is time, enjoy the majestic view from a boat.
Afterwards, visit Amano Iwato Shrine, where Amaterasu is said to have hid, and depart to the hotel.
In the evening, enjoy Takachiho Kagura at Takachiho Shrine.

Day4
Takachiho – Kumamoto – Fukuoka
Breakfast will be provided at the hotel.
You will visit Tsujunkyo Bridge, the largest arched aqueduct in Japan. See the bridge as it flows with great force (except from December to March and from May to July).
Afterwards, you will visit a local sake brewery, Tsujun Sake Brewery, for a sake brewery tour and tasting. Lunch will be provided at a service area along the way. (on your own)
After lunch, you will depart for Fukuoka.
In Fukuoka, You will visit Kushida Shrine, known as “Ogushida-san” to the locals, and experience painting Hakata dolls at the Hakata machiya folk museum.
For dinner, enjoy Fukuoka’s famous food stalls and local cuisine (motsunabe and mizutaki) in the vicinity of the hotel. (on your own).

Day5
Fukuoka – Fukuoka Airport International Flight
Breakfast will be provided at the hotel.
Enjoy shopping and strolling in Tenjin, Canal City, and Lalaport Fukuoka, which just opened in 2022, until departure time for the airport.
You will be transferred by private car to Fukuoka Airport in time for your international flight.
