5 days in Northwestern Kyushu, enjoying the Suigo Yanagawa river cruise and 10 million dollar night view (Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki)

This course is a highlight tour of famous tourist destinations in Fukuoka, Saga, and Nagasaki, located in the northwestern part of Kyushu.
At Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, famous as the god of learning, you can visit the shrine and enjoy shopping along the approach.
In Suigo Yanagawa, a famous sightseeing spot that prospered as a castle town, you will enjoy the popular river cruise.
The Japanese garden, designated as a national place of scenic beauty, is also worth seeing.
In Saga Prefecture, you can enjoy a tour of sake breweries and sake tasting in Kashima, famous for sake brewing.
A stay at Ureshino Onsen, one of the three best hot springs for your skin in Japan, will be one of the highlights of this tour.
In Nagasaki, we will visit the city’s exotic sightseeing spots.
At night, you will see the 10 million dollar night view, one of the three most beautiful night views in Japan.
For a traditional culture experience, you can try on a kimono at Dejima Island in Nagasaki and visit a pottery factory in Imari, Saga.

Day1

Fukuoka Airport International Terminal – Fukuoka City

Upon arrival at Fukuoka Airport, an English-speaking assistant will meet you at the arrival lobby and accompany you to your hotel for check-in.
For dinner, enjoy Fukuoka’s famous yatai stalls and local cuisine in the vicinity of your hotel. (on your own)

Day2

Fukuoka City – Dazaifu – Yanagawa – Ureshino Onsen, Saga Prefecture

Breakfast will be provided at the hotel.
Depart from the hotel by private car to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Upon arrival, visit Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine which is dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning, and enjoy shopping and eating on the road leading to the shrine.
After departing Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, experience a popular river cruise in Suigo Yanagawa, a famous sightseeing spot that flourished as a castle town in the Edo period. For lunch, enjoy the famous Yanagawa steamed eel rice.
After lunch, visit the Japanese garden Gohana, which has been designated a national place of scenic beauty, at the former Tachibana family residence, the former lords of the Yanagawa domain. In the private car, head for Ureshino Onsen, one of the three best hot springs in Japan for beautiful skin.

Day3

Saga, Ureshino Onsen – Kashima – Nagasaki


For breakfast, please enjoy Ureshino Onsen’s speciality, Yudofu (simmered tofu)
After breakfast, you will visit Yutoku Inari Shrine, one of the three most famous Inari shrines in Japan, by private car. Afterwards, you will visit a sake brewery in Kashima which is famous for its sake production, and enjoy a local sake tasting.
In Dejima, Nagasaki, enjoy a Kimono dressing experience, a traditional Japanese costume. Afterwards, visit the Western-style World Heritage Site Glover Garden.
For dinner, enjoy Nagasaki specialities at the hotel.
After dinner, enjoy the beautiful 10 million dollar night view from Mount Inasa by private car, which has been selected as one of the new three cities with the most spectacular might views in the world.

Day4

Nagasaki – Saga/Imari – Fukuoka

Breakfast will be provided at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum by private car, which conveys the horrors of the atomic bombing to future generations. You will be guided to the Peace Memorial Park, where the Peace Statue symbolizes the wish for peace of the citizens of Nagasaki.
After departing Nagasaki, you will walk around Imari Okawauchiyama, the home of the famous secret kilns of Saga’s Imari ware porcelain, and visit the actual kilns.
You will then return to Fukuoka City by private car. For dinner, enjoy Fukuoka’s famous mizutaki.

Day5

Fukuoka – Fukuoka Airport International flight

Breakfast will be provided at the hotel.
Enjoy shopping and strolling in Fukuoka’s city center Tenjin, Canal City and the new LaLaport Fukuoka, which was built in 2022, until departure time for the airport.
You will be transferred by private car to Fukuoka Airport in time for your international flight.
